Fully independent. No editorial decision influenced by advertisers, funders, governments, or political groups.
2. Accuracy and Verification
All claims verified against at least two independent reliable sources. Statistics from credible institutions.
3. Source Transparency
Sources identified wherever possible. Anonymous sources used only with genuine public interest justification.
4. News and Opinion Separation
Strictly separated and clearly labelled.
5. Corrections
Errors corrected promptly with dated correction notices. No silent post-publication alterations.
6. Right of Reply
Subjects of critical coverage offered opportunity to respond before publication.
7. Privacy
Reporting respects privacy and personal rights. Special care for private individuals, minors, and vulnerable persons.
8. Conflicts of Interest
Journalists must disclose and recuse from topics with personal conflicts of interest.
9. AI Tools
AI-assisted content subject to human editorial review. AI never used to fabricate quotes or sources.
